I think I really like Vampire Weekend again? Not that I ever hated them. We just had a bit of a break like Ross and Rachel. Now I'm starting to fall back in love. Now I'm seeing what I missed. Now I understand why everyone's been telling me to get into Modern Vampires Of The City. I get it! It's catchy! Now moving on to this video...

Tonight the English post-dubstep duo are bringing their ambient grooves to the Hoxton. If anyone is looking for a +1 let it be known that I'll happily fill up that spot. Just sayin... holler.

A week ago I posted about Mad Decent's newest lil candy coated export LIZ and her track "Horoscope". Well now we have a video and if she isn't just a huge babe. Also can we talk about this jacket? I want a Mad Decent jacket! Diplo do you here me? Whatever. I love this. Y2K pop I can get behind.

I'm taking it easy tonight but damn does this make me want to go out. Perhaps instead I'll just play their much anticipated debut album Settle so so so loud and dance around on my own Robyn styles or whatnot. Great album name too eh? It's like "lol guess I'll settle for this?" but it's also like "OI SETTLE MATE SETTLE!" So not going to settle down though. Not when there's tunes like these banging.

While we sit and wait for a new Katy B album, I recommend her Danger EP.
Featuring Bruno Mars, 2 Chainz, Tyga & Mystic. Directed by Eric Wareheim (of Tim & Eric) so obviously it's all kinds of crazy. There are SO MANY bootys + a hilarious opening with a trio of Tumblresqe #seapunk ladiez. Too insane.

Because everyone keeps telling me that I need to give the new Vampire Weekend album Modern Vampires of the City a listen. Guess I better get on that... Then again, they haven't released a music video for a track off said album yet, so this lyrics video ft. New York (suiting as I'm still chilling in NY) will have to do for now.

I'll admit that up until very recently I kind of hated this girl, but the more I hear the more her hipster pop is starting to crawl under my skin in a good way. Sometimes you just gotta give in to the sugar right? Take her Backstreet Boys cover below for example. It's not ironic. It's just fun. Hate if you want, but it's much ore fun to enjoy.
