Music Video Of The Day
music video of the day: “Painful Like” by Austra
Well now I wanna watch some Ninja Turtles...
music video of the day: "Hot Knife" by Fiona Apple
Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. My favourite track off The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do. Makes me melt.
music video of the day: "I'm A Flirt Remix" by R. Kelly ft. T.I. & T-Pain
I still can't get over Sunday night's Pitchfork Festival closing R. Kelly set, but then again let me remind you he is the king of RnB. With a set list 38 songs long, plus some amazing freestyles and some sweet acapella jams the man proved why he's been preforming for 27 years, because he's damn good at it. That why he can open with the remix to ignition and close with balloon doves floating in the sky, reminding us that if we believe, we too can fly.
music video of the day: "So Good (Good Ass Intro)" by Chance The Rapper
Heading home from Chicago to check out a local Chicago kid. Tonight Chance The Rapper takes on Toronto at the Hoxton. This opening track to #AcidRap is one of my favs; it's been my summer wake up jam.
music video of the day: "I Belong In Your Arms" by Chairlift
Above is the Japanese version but incase you're not fluent there's an English version below. The babe NY duo play Pitchfork Festival later today.
music video of the day: "Faithful" by Jacques Greene
Because tonight there's a Pitchfork Festival Boiler Room afterparty ft. Jaques Greene, Nicolas Jaar, Todd Edwards, Ryan Hemsworth and more. I'm too stoked.
music video of the day: "Change" by Mikal Cronin
Caught this dude live during the NXNE & M for Montreal Bruise Cruise a month back.
He's a good time. Plays Pitchfork this afternoon.
Make sure to peep @NXNE for livetweets of this year's Pitchfork Music Festival.
music video of the day: "Falling In Love" by 2NE1
I'm currently roadtripping to Chicago for the Pitchfork Music Festival.
I wonder if my friends will let me play KPop in the car as we drive down...
I love this for a lot of reasons, one of them being the veres kind of reminds me of Blondie?
music video of the day: “Big Love” by Jamie Lidell
Hot jam for a hot summer.
music video of the day: "Shut Up" by Savages
They take over Toronto's MOD Club tonight and Chicago's Pitchfork Festival this weekend.
They're pretty bad ass right?
music video of the day: "Tea Guide" by Paradise Animals
A great video by Live Action Fezz for these lovely unsigned and under-appreciated locals.
All in all I dig it.
music video of the day: "Miss You" by The Rolling Stones
Because the Stones doc Gimme Shelter is playing for free at Christie Pits Park tonight.
Check out the trailer below. Come join me at 9pm and bring snacks!
music video of the day: "Bugs Don't Buzz" by Majical Cloudz
Sigh. Soothing sounds to match my sick Saturday spent in bed.
music video of the day: "That's On Me" by Wavves
Because destruction is fun.
music video of the day: "Oldie" by Odd Future
My favourite Odd Future video hands down. A Terry Richardson photo shoot that's gone completely off the rails in the raddest way. A new classic to say the least.

music video of the (yesterday and to)day: "Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)" by Arcade Fire
Because the power has been out and my internet has been down for the past two days.
music video of the day: "Wrapped Up In Books" by Belle & Sebastian
After a day of rain and mud at TURF the rain cleared up just in time. Tonight was my second time seeing Belle & Sebastian. Tonight was the second time I saw them and couldn't stop smiling. This band. Sigh. So many high school memories. Still stuck in the post show twee daze.
music video of the day: "Summa Time" by Main Attrakionz
Some Bay Area cloud rap for this lovely summa Saturday.
The track is off their upcoming album 808s & Dark Grapes III produced by Friendzone.
