Washed Out is the synthy chill dream pop project of Ernest Greene. Last summer's debut album Within And Without is lovely. His second album Paracosm is due out August 13th so keep your ears for it. Also, watch out for the fall tour yo.

I still can't get over Sunday night's Pitchfork Festival closing R. Kelly set, but then again let me remind you he is the king of RnB. With a set list 38 songs long, plus some amazing freestyles and some sweet acapella jams the man proved why he's been preforming for 27 years, because he's damn good at it. That why he can open with the remix to ignition and close with balloon doves floating in the sky, reminding us that if we believe, we too can fly.
Heading home from Chicago to check out a local Chicago kid. Tonight Chance The Rapper takes on Toronto at the Hoxton. This opening track to #AcidRap is one of my favs; it's been my summer wake up jam.
