Filmed and edited by Caitlin Woelfle-O'Brien Music by Blunt Chunks, mixed and recorded with the help of Ben Cook Shot on a Super8 camera with black & white TriX film

Toronto darling Caitlin Woelfle-O'Brien aka Blunt Chunks is a beast of sound + she made this Super 8 video that perfectly captures her vibe.

"I wrote ["Woman"] in the spring of 2013 basically about the pitfalls of romance as a young confused woman, as well as the anxieties I’ve had living in a city with endless possibilities, so many choices, little guidance, depressing surroundings."

Who loves the sun? Not everyone? Well, it turns out the feeling is mutual. Life is a brief and beautiful thing that can sometimes appear to be ugly and horrible. To me this video is about trying to preserve and protect that beauty.

This vibe is on point. This band is on point. This video is smooth and on point.
This time last year at a SummerWorks party, Absolutely Free sang to me whilst I was perched up on a balcony - and consequently I fell in love. Their debut self-titled album finally comes out October 14th. About time.  And in the meantime? Stream their 12" below...

That being said, this almost makes me like her.
